Napa Valley Distillery, award-winning maker of rare and unique spirits has added another product to it's growing list of quality, American-made craft spirits.
Napa Vodka Distiller's Blend will be available on August 17, 2011.
Made from a proprietary blend of soft American Winter Wheat and the Distillery's own single vintage, Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Vodka Distiller's Blend combines traditional Vodka flavors with the unique characteristics of premium Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, making for a whole new Ultra-Premium Vodka experience.
"It's real Vodka with a splash of Napa Valley", says Arthur Hartunian, founder of the Napa Valley Distillery.
Last year, the company released Napa Vodka Vintage Reserve made from only 100% premium Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc from a single vintage and a single Napa estate. Dubbed as the world's first "Vintage Vodka", Napa Vodka Vintage Reserve has so far in less than a year, won two Gold Medals, received a "Highly Recommended" 93 rating from Wine Enthusiast Magazine and a perfect "10" rating from renowned spirits and cocktail expert, Chris Carlsson.
"Napa Vodka Distiller's Blend promises not to disappoint", adds Hartunian. "It's very unique in it's own way, and I believe is a lot more mixer friendly than our Vintage Reserve. But the main difference is the price. Our Distiller's Blend will retail for only around $20 per bottle wheras our Vintage Reserve sells for over $60. So I think for an Ultra-Premium Vodka not only is it a terrific value but it's also a great way to experience some of the same special characteristics as our award-winning Vintage Reserve for a much lower price."
The release of Napa Vodka Distiller's Blend shows proof of the growing public interest in quality American-made craft-spirits. Napa Valley Distillery says it prides itself on using only quality American-grown ingredients as well as American-made packaging.
Napa Valley Distillery has plans to open a public tasting room in 2012 as well as release several more products including Napa Brandy, made from premium Napa Valley grapes.
